Roland Drews is a versatile, experienced managing director, factory and production manager who has been working as an independent interim manager and consultant since 2016. His broad experience allows him to take on short-term projects in various areas such as corporate management, purchasing, supply chain management (SCM), production, industrial engineering, logistics and project management.
His focus is on operational excellence, lean leadership and restructuring. Drews brings extensive experience from various industries, including automotive, mechanical engineering, metal industry, wood and furniture industry and plant engineering. He began his professional career as a company fitter and continued his training as a mechanical engineering technician. He also acquired a degree as an industrial master in the field of metal production technology.
Over the course of his career, Drews has moved through various positions and held managing director positions in several companies. In these roles, he successfully led projects in the areas of industrial engineering, personnel consulting, process optimization and restructuring. He expanded his knowledge and skills through further training in lean leadership, project management, business administration and controlling. As an expert in Lean and Kaizen methods, he brings extensive expertise in the areas of process improvement and efficient operational management.
